A game in which players take on the roles of imaginary characters to engage in a given scenario. Role-playing games are powerful educational tools because they allow people to experience new perspectives in first person in a low stress, risk free environment.

Because it is a game like no other! You will practice skills of communication, problem-solving, cooperation, time-management and negotiation. Things that you are not often taught formally at school. All players leave the experience with a better understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses in a group context and therefore are more prepared for the real world’s challenges.

The game engages participants on a strong emotional level. The fast pace and hands-on experience creates energy and a lot of fun!

SmileUrbo combines the use of technology and in-person interaction. The players must play in the same room so that they can hold discussions but the mobile devices are used to track the progress of the game.

The game is designed for 8 players, but can be played with 7-10 players. Please tell us how many players you plan to have so we can further assist you with this.

6 hours is needed to play the entire game. There are three rounds which each require a half-hour of preparation and then an hour and a half to play. The rounds can be played separately.

The game is a complex simulation of reality and it can be played by anyone 16 years of age or older.

In order to play the game you will need a fast wifi connection, a laptop, a projector for all the players to see a shared screen, 2 mobile devices (can be a smartphone, tablet, etc.) and a fast printer.

SmileUrbo was created as a way to make an impact on how people collaborate and perceive their community, so our goal is to spread it to as many people as possible.

There is a possibility to play with reduced license fee for non-profits and public institutions.

SmileUrbo is also available for commercial purposes and prices differs on the country and the amount of games played annually.
